Government Relations Coordinator
The Government Affairs Coordinator, within the Office of General Counsel, assists the Judicial Branch’s leadership in tracking, analyzing and responding to legislative proposals and requests for information, including preparing fiscal impact statements requested by the Office of the Legislative Budget Assistant. The position serves as the primary liaison for communications with the Legislative and Executive branches regarding Judicial Branch initiatives, keeps Judicial Branch personnel abreast of state and federal legislation, and presents testimony on legislation and policies that affect the courts.
