Divorce Parenting Mediation Financial Assistance

Grant 

You may qualify for the Grant if:

  1. You have a minor child in common with the other party, AND
  2. You or your children receive public assistance, AND
  3. You do not have a lawyer, or you have a pro bono lawyer (you do not have to pay for your lawyer)

If you think you may qualify for the Grant, please fill out the Mediation Payment Worksheet and file it with the court.

If the Court determines that you qualify for the Grant, then the mediation fee will be paid for through a grant the Office of Mediation and Arbitration receives from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human services. 

Fund

You may qualify for the Fund if:

  1. Your income is less than 250% of the Federal Poverty Line

If you think you may qualify for the Fund please fill out the Mediation Payment Worksheet and file it with the court.

If the Court determines that you qualify for the Fund, then the Family Mediation Fund will pay the mediation fee.
